Cooperative Leadership Camp, also known as CLC, is a week-long summer camp for high school students ready to discover how they can make a difference in the world through cooperative business.
Attendees will learn about cooperatives, leadership and team building while connecting with leaders from across the state!
Chaperone Camp
As a teacher or cooperative staff member you are invited to attend camp for the week as a chaperone. Please complete the Chaperone Form as well as the Background Check Form.
Attend Camp
Through industry-specific workshops and more, students will engage in experiential learning of the 8 Cooperative Principles, create real business and marketing plans, practice managing a real-life budget, identify and resolve real business challenges — all while having a great summer camp experience!

In addition to hands-on learning about the big world of cooperatives, students get a fun overnight camp experience, including swimming, lake activities and lots of camp fun.
All meals are included, and lodging is in air-conditioned bunk houses. Bus transportation to and from designated locations across the state is also available and included for attendees.

The cooperative business model is at the center of all we do at #CLC. Camp is sponsored by North Carolina cooperatives, which means it’s free to the selected students!
Cooperative Leadership Camp attendees are also eligible to apply for the $1,000 Jim Graham Leadership Scholarship during their senior year of high school.
