The public relations activities of the Council are primarily directed to the observance of October as Cooperative Month in the state. Each year unique events are planned to recognize the importance of cooperation as a way of doing business and serving members' needs. The Council supports and recognizes issues and activities of importance to members through statewide and local news releases. Participation of staff and numerous programs and activities of other groups and organizations reflect a positive influence of cooperatives as an important community structure. |
